Every once in a while Mother Nature shuffles the elements together and works her paradox in places where us mortals wouldn’t expect to find such evidence, and such was the cusp of Death Valley’s superbloom of 2026. In deference to her efforts, I’ve created a notecard series of five flowers from the bloom, each shot in the context of their nascence on a February evening in the Valley.
Each notecard is 4.25″ x 5.5″ (A2) and defines it’s coverflower on the back of the card. Each is accompanied by an envelope fit for snail mail and personal handoffs to loved ones.
